ABOUT US

Since February 24, 2022, Compassion Connection UA, Inc. has been working tirelessly to provide humanitarian, material and logistical assistance to those in Ukraine who have been affected by Russia’s unprovoked invasion. To date, our team has purchased and delivered 28 evacuation vehicles (including 5 ambulances), and has shipped 932 boxes of aid (25,364.62 lbs) to our verified contacts in Ukraine.
As the needs in Ukraine arise, we aim to address them immediately. Over the course of the past three and half years, we have shipped everything from winter jackets, boots, socks and underwear to tourniquets, emergency blankets, and tactical first aid kits. We have procured and delivered hand-held portable ultrasound machines, wound-vac systems, defibrillators, and EKG machines, as well as generators, blood warming systems and other medical equipment.

Lada Bidiak, Founder
Lada Bidiak, a first-generation Ukrainian-American, founded Compassion Connection UA in response to Russia's attack on Ukraine in 2022. Fueled by a need to directly support Ukrainians on the ground, she began collecting supplies and shipping them out to soldiers, support crew, and medical professionals on the front lines from her home in New Jersey. Recognized by local media and the Ukrainian community at large, she has become a lifeline for soldiers fighting for freedom in Ukraine.
In August of 2025, the Chatham Community Players staged a benefit concert to support Compassion Connection and recognize Lada's work and mission. Hear her speak at the Ukrainian Benefit Concert.
